Apparently, at some point in the last year or so, it's become CRUEL AND UNTHINKABLE to offer suggestions on how to improve on one's artwork.  Not only have I been accosted on numerous occasions now for pointing out areas that could use improvement (while also complimenting areas that are really good, in the same comment) but now it's as though commenting with anything other than "HOLY SHITBEANS YOU ARE FUCKING AMAZING I WANT TO HAVE BABIES WITH YOUR ART" is grounds for getting people red in the face with anger.
